Handtext Converter never uploads your documents, photos, handwriting samples, notes, or exported files to any server. All text-to-handwriting generation, OCR recognition, image deskewing, and canvas rendering execute 100% locally inside your web browser on your own device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Because our web studio is built on a zero-knowledge, client-side architecture, our servers never receive, store, inspect, or log:
- The text you type, paste, or import (including assignments, essays, study notes, or confidential manuscripts).
- Photographs, scans, or document images you upload for Handwriting-to-Text OCR processing.
- Personal handwriting stroke calibrations, pressure profiles, or drawing pad inputs.
- Exported multi-page PDF documents, PNG images, WebP files, Word DOCX files, or text downloads.
- Personal identifying credentials: we require no accounts, usernames, passwords, or payment cards.
2. Local Storage & Browser Sandboxing
To provide a seamless workflow across sessions without needing an account database, certain optional preferences are saved exclusively within your browser's private localStorage:
- Theme Preference: Dark mode or light mode selection.
- Personal Handwriting Profiles: If you use the Personal Profile Studio to calibrate custom slant, spacing, and stroke parameters, they remain in your local browser sandbox.
You can wipe this data at any moment by clearing your browser cache or by clicking "Reset" in the Personal Profile Studio.
3. Web Fonts & External Resources
To display authentic cursive, print, and regional Indic handwriting scripts (such as Kalam, Caveat, Patrick Hand, and Anek Devanagari), standard web font files are loaded from Google Fonts CDN. Google's font delivery adheres to their standard privacy practices and does not associate font downloads with personal credentials.
4. Zero Tracking Cookies & Advertising Pixels
Handtext Converter does not use cross-site tracking cookies, behavioral profiling pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or third-party marketing beacons. Your browsing session and document generation remain strictly private.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Handtext Converter is widely utilized by students and educators for school homework, handwriting practice, and study notes. Because we never collect personally identifiable information or require user registration, the platform is fully safe for educational environments and complies with COPPA and European GDPR-K guidelines.
