1. Acceptance of Terms & Services Provided

By visiting, accessing, or using handtextconverter.com ("Handtext Converter", "the Studio", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our studio provides free browser-based creative software, including:

• Text to Handwriting Converter: Synthesizes typed digital text into realistic handwritten documents with natural jitter, baseline drift, and ink physics.
• Handwriting to Text OCR: Transcribes scanned or photographed handwritten documents into digital, editable text and Word files.
• Personal Profile Studio: Extracts individual stroke slant, spacing, and irregularity from user writing samples to calibrate custom writing profiles.
• Paper Styles & Templates: Interactive ruled, graph, college, and vintage paper textures.

2. User Content Ownership & Commercial License

You retain 100% full, exclusive copyright and ownership over all input text, notes, imported files, uploaded images, and resulting output documents:

• You may use generated handwritten PDF, PNG, and WebP files for personal study, homework, presentations, books, greeting cards, marketing collateral, or commercial merchandise with zero royalties or license fees.
• We claim zero intellectual property rights over any text or documents you process. Because files never touch our servers, we have neither access nor claim to your work.

3. Acceptable & Prohibited Use

Handtext Converter is designed as a productivity, educational, and aesthetic design tool. You agree to use the service responsibly and strictly refrain from:

• Forgery: Falsifying legal signatures, endorsements, checks, or contracts.
• Fraudulent Representation: Creating deceptive official government affidavits, medical certificates, or identification records.
• Academic Dishonesty: Violating school or university honor codes where handwritten verification is legally or academically sworn to be original physical pen-and-paper work.
• Malicious Disruption: Attempting to reverse-engineer client code maliciously, inject cross-site scripts, or overload public asset delivery.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software, handwriting physics engine, and OCR transcription algorithms are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

While our OCR engine achieves industry-leading recognition fidelity and our text-to-handwriting simulator employs organic baseline and stroke variations, we do not warrant that transcription will be 100% error-free on heavily degraded or illegible handwriting. Users are encouraged to utilize our built-in side-by-side verification tool to review documents before publishing or printing.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Handtext Converter, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including loss of data, missed academic deadlines, or printing costs) arising from the use or inability to use the studio.

6. Font Licensing & Third-Party Assets

The 24 handwriting font families (such as Kalam, Caveat, Patrick Hand, Architects Daughter, and Anek series) are open-source fonts distributed under the SIL Open Font License (OFL) or Apache 2.0 license, hosted via Google Fonts. Their use within generated documents is subject to their respective open licenses.

7. Modifications & Inquiries

We reserve the right to improve, update, or modify these terms to reflect new platform capabilities or regulatory requirements. Continued use of the website signifies your acceptance of updated terms.
